Lip Blush
Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup that enhances the natural lip colour, improves shape/symmetry, gives definition and the illusion of fullness. This treatment delivers very natural results, once healed. Lip blushing lasts 2-3 years although your lifestyle contributes to how well it maintains; smoking and sun exposure are just a couple of factors that can speed up the fading process.
The Procedure
The treatment is approximately 3 hours.
Stage 1 - Consultation!
Stage 2 - Numbing!
Covering medical history, contraindications (see below) and the shape, colour and final look you are wanting to achieve.
A local anaesthetic will be put on your lips to numb the area so that minimal pain is felt throughout the treatment.
Stage 3 - Mapping!
This stage is so important and I take my time with it, as the mapped pre-draw will act as my template when I begin drawing the outline with the digital machine. When outlining the shape I will take into consideration:
-
Your current lip shape
-
Symmetry
I will always show you my pre-draw and we can tweak until you are 100% happy and content! Please note I cannot over line your lips on to the skin as this risks pigmentation bleeding and discolouring.
Stage 4 - Outline!
Pulling the skin taught, I will slowing begin to follow my predraw with the digital machine to tattoo the outline in place.
Stage 5 - Shading!
Layers of pigment shading are built up until a blended liner or full lip blush colouring is created. Numbing will be used frequently throughout the treatment. Depending on the density of the healed result required you may require 2 or 3 further top up appointments.
